About the Collective: Our music is all over- it’s where the people are at. World House Funk Soul Afro Latin Hip Hop Breakbeats, genres at the margins, music without borders. Each of the DJs brings a style, a unique translation of the intersection of dance & liberation. Together we share stages, music, equipment, ownership, creativity. Together we make our own culture. We don’t bring that negative stuff- this is meant to be positive & liberating. We’ve been a loose group of friends spinning a lot of fundraisers, parties, protests. We’re now a family looking forward to building with other DJs & gettin at the heart of Chicago.
